O Laboratório de Medição Fasorial Síncrona (LabPMU) do Cepel é uma infraestrutura para apoio à realização de ensaios e pesquisa aplicada em Unidades de Medição Fasorial (PMUs). O objetivo principal do LabPMU é dotar o Cepel de capacidade para atender às necessidades de realização de ensaios, estudos e pesquisa experimental envolvendo medição sincrofasorial. Este artigo apresenta as facilidades do LabPMU, avaliações iniciais de desempenho de algumas PMUs e o estágio inicial do desenvolvimento de sistema de teste de aplicativos computacionais para PMUs.
ABSTRACT – Cepel’s Synchrophasor Laboratory (LabPMU) is an infrastructure that allows tests of Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs) and provides a computational platform for testing software applications using PMU’s data. The main objective of the Lab is to provide the necessary capability to Cepel meet the requirements involving synchrophasor measurement tests of PMUs, experimental research and studies regarding synchrophasor systems. This paper presents the facilities of LabPMU, initial evaluation of PMUs at the laboratory and the initial stage of development of a system focused on testing PMU applications.
