Abstract:
This study presents the determination of neutron energy fluency from the 241AmBe source. Spectrum determination is based in a Bonner Sphere Spectrometry which the detector without sphere and covered with polyethylene spheres of different diameters. It’s intend to characterize a new moderate spectrum in water, using the source under study, seeking to useful for testing, calibration and irradiation of personal monitors and survey meters.
